‘I often create bits of space, pieces of space that suggest a larger whole. I am fascinated by the home and the different elements that make it up. The house is a physical space that reflects our internal world, says Gaston Bachelard. My work is the result of a reflection on the intimate space that can be a house or a habitat.’

‘Between image and object, my research tries to build an intimate and poetic geography that seeks to capture the state of grace of the journey. Moments of pause in a continuous displacement, my works have a temporality both furtive and meditative. Somewhere between the Ivory Coast, Senegal and Niger, my images capture what could have been only a reflection, a movement, a promise.’
